Sarnia-Lambton real estate sales have surpassed the $400-million mark for the second straight year.
Ten-year record highs have been posted during seven months of 2016 so far with volume sales now at more than $436-million.
Real Estate Board President Jane Baker says it’s remarkable because December sales haven’t even been recorded yet.
“We have already surpassed last year\s total of $411.7-million by $25-million,” says Baker. “That’s not even including the upcoming totals for December.”
148 properties worth $38.3-million sold last month, up 23% over November 2015.
