It was a moving ceremony, in which the speaker broke down in tears momentarily but carried on.
In response to the recent Mosque shootings in Quebec,
Sarnians came out Thursday in front of City Hall, in order to show solidarity and support to the local Moslem
Community.
A crowd of about three hundred, including the Mayor, senior police officers and council members, heard a few words from Aruba Mahmud and then there was
a moment of silence for the victims of senseless tragedy.
